I’m Linda Huang. I’m currently studying in Sweden and was participated in VOICE as a student in 2013 and V2 in 2015. Before going to VOICE, I have always been a normal person, with a normal life. I just followed the tradition of the Chinese people and worshipped their idols. After I graduated from senior high school, I started a part time job. I didn’t know why I earned the money. I just kept working. Then in April, 2013, my elementary school’s classmate Sean Liao told me everything about VOICE. What impressed me the most was that he said “You will never forget anything that happens over there”. He invited me to apply for VOICE that year. I was in a quandary first, because I knew I had to pay the money. However, I thought it might be a good way to know God more so I applied it and paid two-thirds of the money by myself. The first weekend was my first time to go to church. On that day, I fainted because I didn’t eat breakfast. Karen took care of me and told me something about Jesus. She said “Jesus would be your best friend for a lifetime.” which I still remember. Even though it was a little bit awkward that I didn’t know anything about Jesus and never read the Bible or prayed before, but now I know the things that God told me is whoever believes in God shall not perish but have eternal life. God will change us to be the person He designed us to be. He had made preparations for me beforehand for a long time. I also got baptized in 2015 when I returned to VOICE. I will keep loving Him and serving Him. And I hope that I will spread the good news to other people that haven’t heard of it yet. God has truly stepped into my heart and blessed me, giving me a new life and Jesus Christ to hold on to my faith. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”. - Proverbs 3:5-6
